Brętowo emerged as the clear victor in the cleanliness of public spaces category, boasting an impressive score of 4.35. Additionally, residents of Gdańsk recognized the cleanliness in six other districts of the city: VII Dwór, Ujeścisko-Łostowice, Jasień, Orunia Górna, Strzyża, and Przymorze Małe.

GDANSK AIRPORT

Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, located about 12 kilometres northwest of the city centre, serves as a major transportation hub for the Tri-City metropolitan area and northern Poland.

In 2023, Gdansk Airport welcomed 5,907,280 passengers, a whopping 29.1 per cent more than the year before, but what is more important is that this is 9.9 per cent more than in 2019.

The year 2024 is the 50th anniversary of Gdansk Airport in its current location.
